Dr. Anstadt (Superintendent) with Granger (Therapy Dog) | Dr. Kadee Anstadt is celebrating her third year as superintendent for Washington Local Schools. She grew up in Point Place and spent the first 20 years of her career in business before receiving her Master's degree in Education from Baldwin Wallace University. She taught 4th grade in Hudson, Ohio and returned to Toledo in 2005 to care for her parents. She taught for the Perrysburg Schools for three years before entering administration with Perrysburg where she served as the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning and then Assistant Superintendent. She received her doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2017 from Concordia University. She and her husband Mike have five children, three grandchildren, and three very spoiled dogs including Granger, a therapy dog who serves Washington Local Schools.
