Superintendent's Update - April 4, 2022

Good Morning Washington Local,

As we head into the last nine school days before Spring Break, we are thinking of all the celebrations and traditions that have been on hold for the past two years and are grateful to see these traditions return.

This week is the first full week of Ramadan. We wish those students and staff who are observing this holy month of fasting, "Ramadan Mubarek."  Next week, we end the week with Passover, Vaisakhi, and Good Friday which signify important traditions for many families.  We wish all of our Washington Local families peace and love during these seasons of celebration and reflection.

Spring sports are in full swing and the Senior Citizen Prom returns this week!  You can literally wander over to the Whitmer Campus any afternoon this week and find a match, game or meet taking place...if the weather permits.  The weather may not be cooperating quite yet, but it's a good sign to see the schedule this full.  Have a great week!
