Why Whitmer
The Panther Press
Panther Press, formerly known as Panther's Pause, is the student-led voice of Whitmer High School. This fully student ran online newspaper is updated weekly and is a one stop resource for student life, news, and creative expressions. Panther Press is also home to our Whitmer Reading Community as well as our literary publication, The Forum.
Please check out our APP for personalized update choices and ease of access.
In our first year as an online publication, we will surely be working on building our content as well as our very young staff. The Panther Press team welcomes your constructive feedback on how we can continuously improve the paper and allow our students to grow as journalists. Please use the feedback form linked on the ABOUT page of our website with any support, suggestions, or story ideas.
Panther Press is also partnered with the Career Technology Center marketing program in order to bring top quality advertising opportunities. If you or your business is interested in advertising with our student body of 2,000+ students and growing online audience, please contact:
