Axis Cameras - Quick How To

How To: Get the Cameras and Views down the left hand side instead of across the bottom

Open Configuration
Open Client > Settings
Look for "Navigation System"
Turn on "Tree view navigation system"
Open a new View tab

How To: Use the Phone App (Android or iPhone) to view your cameras

Overview

The new district security video camera system uses the AXIS Camera Station to view both live and recorded security videos. Please have your principal or supervisor submit a Help Desk Ticket to let DIS know that you need access to the camera system.

- A few shortcuts for daily users
  - Log into AXIS Camera Station
    - Search for and open AXIS Camera Station on your computer - if it is missing please submit a Help Desk Ticket
    - Use the "Log in as current user" as long as you are logged into the computer as yourself
  - Live view cameras

    - Smart Search
  - Add bookmarks
  - Export recordings
  - Play and verify recordings in AXIS File Player
