How do I update my greeting or use an alternate greeting? How do I switch between greetings?
Typically Greeting 1 is your primary and Greeting 2 is your away / vacation / etc. You do have four available outgoing messages to use any way you need.
- Press Message button on phone
- Enter your passcode, do not press # -- that hangs up
- Select 8, 1, 7
- Select the # (1-4) of the greeting you wish to record
- Say your greeting
- Press # when you are done speaking
- Press 9
- Hang up by pressing #
Now it is time to pick the greeting you wish to play. You can actually pick a different greeting for different situations. For example you can have a generic 'I am not here' message that plays if you do not answer. You can also have an 'I am on another line' message if your are talking on the phone. Repeat the process below if you wish to set different messages for different situations.
- With the phone on the hook press Transfer button
- Press 5, 6
- Choice time - press one of these
- 1 - do not use
- 2 - message to play if you are on the phone (busy message)
- 3 - message to play if you have DND turned on
- 4 - message to play if you do not answer after several seconds / no answer
- 0 - do not use
- Press 0 to use for both internal and external calls
- Press the Greeting # you wish to use (it shows the currently selected greeting number)
- Press the hold / save button
How do I skip someone's outgoing voicemail announcement so I can just record my message?
Once their outgoing message starts press the * key to skip their announcement.
If the phone is ringing and you just want to just leave a message you can press the "Message" button on the phone to jump directly to the record now point.
How do I transfer a call to another number?
While in the call press 'Transfer' then enter the destination voicemail box number. You can either wait for the person to answer, announce the person, and hand up OR just hand up.

How do I answer a call ringing at another telephone?
While the other phone is ringing press *77 and then the number you wish to pick up. So to pick up someone calling 8446 you would enter *778446

- If you have 8 buttons around your phone screen press the bottom right button (labeled 8444)

- Dial 419-473-8444
- Press the # key
- Enter voicemail box number (phone #) AND your passcode all in a row. For example, if your voicemail box was 1212 and your passcode was 9898 then you would enter 12129898.
- You can now check your messages.
How do I record my name for the Phone Directory?
- Press *563 on the keypad for your phone
- Press 1
- Press # --- say your name --- press the ‘Menu’ button on the keypad
- Hang up

- Do you want to set inside calls or outside calls?
- For Inside Calls press 2 - ICM Ring
- For Outside Calls press 3 - CO Ring

- Next -- Go to next available tone, wraps around to beginning
- OK or Check Mark -- select
- To abort click on the speakerphone button to hang up
How do I turn off my ringer so the phone does not ring during a meeting?
Press the DND button while the phone is not in use. Anyone calling will immediately go to your voicemail box
